- Why Meditate? Because It Works by Jillian Lavender
If you’re curious about meditation and you’d like to know WHAT it does and WHY it actually works, check out this book, it is absolutely brilliant.
- Second Spring – the self-care guide to menopause by Kate Codrington
Perimenopause can sometimes feel like the rug has been pulled from under our feet and this can leave us feeling disempowered and lost. Second Spring is a new kind of menopause book, bringing the radical notion that with small changes and a clear-eyed look at what’s no longer serving you, you can reclaim your vitality and joy in life.Second Spring offers a new vision for menopause, mapping the psychological phases and showing how this period in your life can be a time of personal growth. - Hormonal Harmony – a natural guide to women’s wellbeing by Susanne Haegele
This book is exactly what I’ve been looking for in terms of holistic vision, expert knowledge (Susanne gathered a team of experts across many disciplines) and practical tools.I really recommend it for any woman navigating hormonal imbalance – puberty, pregnancy, post natal, perimenopause or menopause. It’s a beautiful, coffee table book, super tactile with beautiful photography and clear wisdom.
- A Year of Mystical Thinking: Make Life Feel Magical Again by Emma Howarth
A revolutionary programme for personal renewal, The Artist’s Way will help get you back on track, rediscover your passions, and take the steps you need to change your life.
Wintering is a poignant and comforting meditation on the fallow periods of life, times when we must retreat to care for and repair ourselves. Katherine May thoughtfully shows us how to come through these times with the wisdom of knowing that, like the seasons, our winters and summers are the ebb and flow of life.
Happy reading! Let me know what’s on your must-read list!
