Shopping on Marylebone High Street, London
I’m in London to visit private clients, the perfect opportunity for doing a bit of shopping. So I thought I’d share with you my finds!
I knew I’d only have half a day max to shop & I had my list of needed pieces, so I knew I needed to either go to one of the department stores where there’s lots of choice under one roof (and the option to pre-book a personal changing suite #gamechanger) or choose one location with lots of good shops in easy walking distance.
So I chose Marylebone High Street as it has always had a great selection of independent fashion and lifestyle brands and good pubs & cafes to refuel along the way….and my favourite bookshop, Daunt!
- Daunt Book Club
- Morning Power Walk at Regent’s Park
- Where I stayed
And I knew Wyse London had opened their first store there so that was my mind made up as I’ve been wanting to visit it. Marylebone High Street was also walking distance from where I am staying, a huge bonus!
Let me take you through my favourite shops and what I found on this shopping trip to Marylebone High Street!
Wyse London
I made a Beeline for the WYSE LONDON boutique on Marylebone High Street. I’m slightly obsessed with their Instagram… And couldn’t wait to try on a bunch of pieces in-store. Well, it did not disappoint!
Fabulously flattering cuts, beautiful fabrics and prints and dresses with POCKETS!!!! 👍😍
Founder Marielle Wyse is super inspiring and the best advert for her own colour loving collections. Lots of these items are samples due out soon. I love a sneak peak.
I told you, I really did get VERY excited!

Rixo
Next stop on my shopping trip to Marylebone High Street was Rixo, where I found some pretty vintage inspired designs:

Joseph
Then I headed to Joseph. I found the most gorgeous graphic knitwear!
Also slightly obsessed with their gabardine stretch Coleman trousers. I forgot to take a photo of but got a pair for my client! Find them here.

agnès b.
Absolutely delighted with this shorts & top set. Looks like a playsuit but it’s super versatile separates. None of my short shorts or denim turn up shorts work anymore. I wanted a longer wider short for this summer in a clean dark navy denim. Popped into agnès b while shopping on Marylebone High Street and ….ta-da!!!!
And I love how well they go with this Ba&sh top!
That is my go-to summer casual look sorted. Comfy, cool, casual.
And I was also looking for a new good quality Breton top to replace my much loved Zadig & Voltaire one that I bought Preloved DeTuAmi in Palma and have literally worn to death. I never wear Breton stripes on their own like this but I’ll wear it a lot as a base layer under floral dresses and shorter sleeved Tops for a contrast sleeve and extra warmth.

lululemon
Also got these super comfy lightweight dance pants from Lululemon. I wanted a lightweight comfy pant for hiking (and in case I ever get my ass into an exercise class) this track style is new for me and I wasn’t sure at first but my friends encouraged me to get them and I’m so pleased they did.
I got asked by 3 people on Saturday where I got my trainers from while shopping on Marylebone Hight Street! That put an extra spring in my step! Find out all about my kicks on this blog post: www.leesawhisker.com/new-kicks/!

Ba&sh
Another big hit for me during my shopping trip was Ba&sh on Marylebone High Street.
The navy embroidered peasant blouse is in the Sale and the rest is new season.
The jumpsuit is without doubt the most flattering I’ve tried. And trust me I’ve tried a LOT. I usually look like I’ve come to fix the plumbing. But this grey denim is super well tailored and stretchy.
I had also set myself a shopping budget and I’m delighted with what I got, but the dress took me over budget so I left it behind. And now I regret it! I love the graphic, slightly 80s sleeve detail. It’s soft sweatshirt fabric and super comfy (can you tell how important comfort is to me??). I was unsure about the shorter length snug fit skirt, although I know the cotton fabric will give and I could hand stretch it out a bit for a looser fit on the bottom.
Ah damn it… Might have to loop back to the store. What do you think? Should I get it?
