Wool-Free Knitwear Finds

Wool-Free Knitwear Finds

Are you allergic to wool? Searching for cool knitwear that won’t make your skin itch? My personal shopping client yesterday can’t wear wool, but wanted 3 cool new sweaters to refresh her Autumn/Winter 2020 wardrobe.

I thought I’d share a few of the pieces I found for her in case you’re in a similar situation fabric & itch-wise 😉

Obviously this selection was sourced for a personal client and therefore chosen to suit her specific body shape (petite and curvy), style preference (classic with a twist), lifestyle, budget & colouring (winter – cool, dark & bright) but hopefully it gives you some inspiration and brands to check if you’re also allergic to or irritated by wool.

You might also be interested in this post about common natural fibres well suited to those with sensitive skin and this one about how to make an annoying itchy sweater less itchy.

And remember base layers when you’re shopping for knitwear. Winter warmth is all about clever layering, so remember fine thermals like this 100% silk scoop neck from Terramar under lighter weight sweaters.

Time to get cosy.
